About MidSARC

A Potted History

The Mid Somerset Amateur Radio Club has recently been re-formed after the original amateur radio club for this area closed in 1997.

The fledgling club's first meeting was in March 2009 and held at Peter Street Rooms in Shepton Mallet. The AGM followed in October where the new committee was approved by the membership.

The club gained its callsign MØMSA in the spring of 2010 and as of October that year the club became affiliated to the RSGB.

After a successful season at its meeting venue in Wells, the club decided at its second AGM to relocate back to Peter Street Rooms in Shepton Mallet.
